Worship

Our worship is a blend of contemporary and traditional.

Our weekly gathering for worship reminds us of who we are and whom we serve. It is a reminder to live into life and not escape life. It is also a weekly reminder to say yes to life and no to fear and all that would distract us from living life abundantly.

One of our prayers states that “work and worship are one, that life is undivided.” In other words, all that we do is part of worship and cannot be categorized into sacred or secular.

Our worship is both gathered (Sunday mornings) and scattered (weekdays).

  • Sunday morning worship services begin at 11:00 am.
  • Adult Christian formation classes take place at 10:00 am on Sunday mornings.
  • Children's Christian formation time occurs during the second half of the Sunday morning worship service.

Within our gathered times we take time to celebrate, learn, grow, sing, pray, eat and share in both life’s joys and sorrows. Besides our regular Sunday morning services, about every 6 weeks we gather for a fully intergenerational, interactive service that usually ends with one of our highly anticipated potluck meals and the celebration of communion.
