Welcome to Rouge Valley Mennonite Church.

We are a gathering of people on a journey of faith and life.

COVID-19 Update

We will be holding our service online until further notice. Contact us at admin@rvmc.ca or 905-294-6242 if you have any questions.

Join us as we seek:

  • To embrace the welcome and peace of Jesus within a caring community.
  • To live lives of gratitude as ones loved by God and in response to God’s goodness.
  • To care for the welfare of others in the Spirit of Christ, through cooperation, dialogue, service and love.

Rouge Valley Mennonite Church is part of a Mennonite presence in the Markham area since the early 1800s. We are a diverse and inter-generational congregation… discover a different rhythm of life.

We as Rouge Valley Mennonite Church acknowledge the traditional stewards of the land we currently inhabit, the First nations of the Wyandot (Wendat) Huron Confederacy, the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois language family and confederacy), and the Ojibwe (Chippewa). We acknowledge we are treaty people of the Williams Treaty, together with the Mississauga First Nations of Rice Lake, Mud Lake, Scugog Lake and Alderville; and the Chippewa First nations of Christian Island, Georgina Island and Rama.

“My hope is that the description of God’s love in my life will give you the freedom and courage to discover God’s love in yours.”

Henri Nouwen, Here and Now
