Belong

We were made for connection. It’s a critical part of being human. Community offers a sense of purpose — what we can do better together than alone — and a place to contribute your diverse gifts for the benefit of the whole.

We are committed to the transformative and messy work of nurturing a church where all people feel truly welcome and valued. We believe that every human being is created and gifted by God; therefore, people of every race and ethnicity, sexual orientation and gender identity, age and background, ability and disability, and theological conviction are invited to be a real part of the church.

Rouge Valley Mennonite Church belongs to our larger denominational family of Mennonite Church Eastern Canada (Area Church body) and Mennonite Church Canada (National Church body). Through these organizations, we help contribute to the larger ministry of the Church.

Find a place where you can truly belong at RVMC. Various groups – of all ages – meet to socialize, share ideas, nurture their faith and have fun. Different groups meet monthly, weekly or ad hoc.

RVMC is also a place where you can suggest your own ideas about how to grow your faith, explore friendships, and initiate new activities.
